The ZR1 is the best Vette yet with more power and better brakes then any other production Corvette.

Under the hood is a Eaton Twin Vortices Series supercharged 6.2 liter V-8 aluminum block engine that produces out around 638hp at 6500 rpm and 604 lb. of torque at 3800 rpm. All this creates GM's most powerful production engine ever.

To stop this 3324 lb. rocket are four Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes, which grab 15.5 inch. cross vented drilled rotors in the front and 15 inch. in the back. This makes them one of the largest carbon ceramic rotors on any production vehicle.

And all this can be yours for around $110,000, which is still cheap compared to the Aston Martins, Ferarri's, Lamborghini's and so many other exotic sports cars.

All this is why the Corvette truly is An American Revolution.

Here is the racing version of the C-6 called the C6-R, next to the 100% street legal version                                                             of the 505 hp Z-06 Corvette called the Z-06  Together they produce over 1000 hp.

This is the typical all aluminum small block, Chevy has used for more than 50 years in many Chevy products, especially the Corvette.
